Our POST workout recovery protein and plant protein are BOTH derived and made with plant-based sources, however, the intention and purpose of each is slightly different.
POST, is made with plant protein, in addition to carbohydrates and added superfoods for better post-workout muscle recovery. This can also be used as meal-replacement, or in between snack, since it provides great an amazing and robust amount of carbohydrates, protein, and electrolytes.
POST also adds 4g of L-Glutamine, which is a conditional amino acid, that helps with muscle soreness and recovery.
Swolverine's Plant Protein, is pure protein, made with pea protein isolate and pumpkin seed protein. We also add healthy fats for brain health such as coconut oil, virgin olive oil, and MCT. Plant protein is great for addd protein in the diet, or building more muscle mass.
However, you DO NEED carbohydrates for optimal recovery and glycogen replacement. Therefore, if you are looking for a better recovery option, POST would be the best choice.
