How are Swolverine products testedUpdated 10 days ago

Swolverine products are tested through a multi-step quality control process designed to verify product safety, purity, content, and specification accuracy.

All Swolverine manufacturing partners maintain in-house quality teams that test incoming ingredients and finished products to help ensure products meet applicable FDA and cGMP requirements.

Each product undergoes testing through two separate independent laboratories:

Microbiological Testing: Products are tested for microbial safety to help ensure they meet required quality and safety standards.

Heavy Metal Testing: Products are tested for heavy metals, including substances such as lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury.

Product Specification Testing: Products are reviewed against established specifications to help verify identity, purity, strength, composition, and label accuracy.

Finished products are lab-tested and supported by a Certificate of Analysis (COA), which helps confirm quality, content, and purity. Swolverine documents all incoming raw materials, including Certificates of Analysis and testing performed on incoming components.

In addition, Swolverine documents the full manufacturing process for each product in a finished production file called a Batch Record. The Batch Record includes finished product testing and the Certificate of Analysis for the final product.

Swolverine works with contracted manufacturing partners whose facilities have passed inspections, audits, or certifications from agencies and organizations including:

→ California Department of Public Health
→ Georgia Department of Public Health
→ Utah Department of Health
→ Texas Department of State Health Services
→ Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
→ USDA Organic Certification, where applicable
→ NSF Certification, where applicable

cGMP-certified facilities are responsible for accurate representation, documentation, and reporting of manufactured products. This includes ensuring products consistently meet established specifications for identity, purity, strength, composition, and contaminant limits, and that products are manufactured, packaged, labeled, and held under conditions designed to prevent adulteration under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

All available third-party testing results, including Certificates of Analysis, can be found directly on Swolverine product pages whenever available.
